Lisa grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, and is a local mentor, leader, municipal figure and change-maker. She is a mother to three boys, one of whom is on the Autism Spectrum. She is the founder of Grocer 4 Good Ability Development and Cafe 4 Good, which employ youth and young adults who face barriers to employment. She has been a city councillor since 2018 and believes in leading through collaboration, example, and learned best practices from successes and hardships.
